Long time no see!! (and) We have ghosts - Part I

Hi everyone! We are still here! We have just had the VERY BEST six weeks or so since our last post! (According to mom anyway....)

First, mom's 'puter decided it didn't want to work - and the "geeks" just got it back to her! But at the same time, she said she had to deal with a kitchen re-do - whatever that means. Then there was these mean guys who came over and took out our mud holes in the back yard - how rude!! (They also came a week early - which had mom looking a little dumbfounded!) I wish they never would have come at all! There isn't anything we can dig in anymore!!! Oh - except for the lilac tree - they put brown foodables around it - which we have enjoyed ever so much......

Then there was the broken thermostat, the plumbing problems in the bathroom (which I blame on her trying to wash the little monster in the bathtub - but mom said that was not the issue), the bugs in her bed (Huh? Isn't there a little night-time saying that discusses those things for kids to understand??), and of course, us two angels being perfectly well behaved in the house, destroying absolutely nothing at all.....

OH, then there was the monitor going black on the big 'puter box - not the great laptop.....I guess mom just sort of gave up on on communicating with all of our friends during all of these things....so, sorry! Someone come over and kick her in the you know what!!

For now, we will just post a couple of pictures so you can see how Sole' has grown.....and a few pictures of the trouble the ghosts at our house have caused! Mom still isn't convinced we have a "Casper" here, but I swear - it wasn't Sole or I that caused any trouble around here!!

Everything started off innocently enough - we had no idea!! First, we found our beloved duck-duck de-winged.....(somewhat similar to a now de-armed monkey that we all know......)

Then, we found someone (something??) had tried to re-arrange our living room furniture without us knowing anything about it......

Sole' was on her toes that day - she did manage to catch a bit of something (ecto?) from "Casper" to show mom...

I am not sure mom believed us, but we have more pictures to back up our claims.....Maybe we should call the Ghost Hunters?? Ghost Busters?? Do they have a 1-800 number?

Ok, that's all for now, except for me and my baby - and we never do ANYTHING wrong:

Penny Here - Well, the time has come for me to go home! Luna is coming back home to be with Sandra and Sole'!! So, I have only had time for:

One last romp with my grandmonster (can you see her eyes under me??!!) hehehe

One last game of tennis...... (good form, don't you think?)


One last nap for dreaming.....(see the little monster in the back under the coffee table??)

I am sure I will be back here now and again. Luna said she will keep me updated and come and visit me with Sole'!!

Luna Here: Whoo Hoo! I am home!





Well, after my happy dance, and taking my time smelling everybody who has been in my yard, I had to have a sit down with Sole' and tell her "my rules". You know how grandparents are, all love and no discipline!

I will share our discussion with you all in the next day or two! It is still a work in progress because I haven't seen Sole' in a couple of weeks. I think she may be taking advantage of the human mom - we'll see!

Tornados!

Penny here: We take a break from our regularly scheduled puppy pictures to bring you the following: We have been having lots of rain and severe whether here recently. On Monday, my humans' friends - who live south of Denver a bit - took the following pictures. All of these tornados were only about 1/4 mile from their house! Good thing they were on the watch! I would hate to see all of their furry friends fly away! They don't have wings!

The beasties are all ok - but, there may be more of these things today! I hope not!!

Naps and Play!

Penny here: Well, we are having fun here! I forgot how exhausting having a little one can be! Sole' is keeping me busy, but I still love my little grandmonster!


I supervise her play so that she doesn't destroy any of Luna's or my favorite stuffies:

Then, of course, it is time for us all to get some much needed rest:

Phew! Well - time to nap as the grandmonster is now sleeping.........

ARRGGHH! Not even one week yet!! :)

Penny here: I only have the 'puter for a minute or two (OK, maybe a bit more). The human wants to take a nap! I know I get more naps, but PLEASE! I NEED THEM! More on that little monster subject later! The human mom also wants to say she is sorry for not visiting your blogs, but she isn't getting too much sleep these days......hmm.....I wonder why!

Anywho, the little monster came home and has attached herself to my hip - as evidenced by the following:


Then she started a gradual exploration of the "small grey manor" and has found her "spot" as shown in the following pictures! Human mom isn't too keen on this, but there are worse things......like the stereo wires she has made broke, the numerous times she "did it" in the house already, the constant "whining and barking" when I or human mom are not near her, and all of the non-digestable hardware she picks up in the back yard!!!

Go to sleep already!! We already know who to blame for all of the paw prints on the coffee table!

Tired Already!

Penny here: Well, Sole' is home, and the human mom is tired! hehehe! It has only been 36 hours!! The little monster is doing pretty well, but she does miss her litter mates!


I pretty much ignore her for now - at least until she feels more comfy here!

Now she is taking notes on blogging.....don't tell Luna!

Human mom has already had to use the cleaning stuffs she bought - and she thought she was watching real close! BOL!

Shopping,

Penny here: Well - mom went shopping alright....let's take a look, shall we?

Sole' got all of this stuff - including new food and toy storage boxes as well as all of the other - um, "things" that a puppy needs? Really?
Let's take a closer look, shall we??
OK, maybe she does need some of that stuff, but look what Luna got:
I mean really - a new bowl, food storage container and pooper scooper? Is this fair I ask you? I called Luna and told her about this gross injustice, and she said not to worry. Once she got home, EVERYTHING would be hers anyway!! BOL!!

Then this is what I got! Now, it isn't anywhere near the "volume" of Sole's gifts, or the "usefulness" of Luna's gifts, but mine are WAY MORE FUN!!!
Since I am very polite, I didn't grab my gifts, but waited patiently!
Now I am very pleased with my VERY NEW and BOUNCY balls - but I was interrupted from breaking them in by a very big and fat squirrel thing running along my fence.......
After a brief play with my new tennis balls, Mom said she had to clean things in the back yard - including a new puppy restraining/sleeping tool device system for Sole'....(it had to dry out in the back-ground).
I wan't worried! While she was cleaning, she left the water running! And I had to clean my new bouncy ball anyway....(don't turn us in to the water control peeps)
I am such a happy camper right now! Water and new tennis balls, could it get any better than this???
